Like anything, we fear the unknown and when our body encounters a new stimulus we often fear the worst. Even experienced and otherwise confident triathletes can succumb to panic if you let yourself believe you are the victim, rather than the master, of your situation.

Weather for Race Day?!
Forecasts are for Picture Perfect Race Conditions!

Well an accurate long range forecast for Calgary is a contradiction in terms, but all the long range forecasts I have seen are predicting sunshine for race day (knock on wood, fingers and toes crossed etc.)
Forecasts are for warm (27C) temperatures with sunny skies.

We Still Need Volunteers!!
Volunteers still require in a few critical areas!
We are still requiring volunteers in a few areas. We especially need volunteer kayakers for the swim course, bike marshals and help to set-up Transition 2 and Finish Line at North Glenmore Park on Saturday. If you have family or friends coming to the race, perhaps they would consider lending a hand while they wait for you?
