If you are anything like me, you've already taken a short break from training and are eager to get back into some healthy living. This time of year shouldn't be for going out and setting personal bests in training or local races.  If you are preparing for the Calgary 70.3, you have lots of time before spring comes when you will start getting into race specific intensive training......

The Newbie Category Returns for 2012

Back by popular request is the category for Ironman 70.3 Virgins  or other athletes who are a little intimidated by the distance and/or by the mass swim starts. This category is open to all ages, it will be the last wave start  and will be heavily supported (especially during the swim) by enthusiastic  volunteers with morale and technical support. 

You will be able to relax and spend the day in a supportive environment and push each other to collectively reach your goal of finishing an Ironman 70.3.

Look for the Newbie Category when you register!
