Adele Cancels U.S. Tour

Adele has been forced to cancel her upcoming 10-city sold-out tour of the U.S., including the Oct. 18 date at The Pavilion, due to a hemorrhage of her vocal chord. Vocal chord issues forced the British singer to postpone dates earlier this year as well. Adele has just wrapped up touring around the U.K. and was preparing to kick off her U.S. tour on Oct. 7 in Atlantic City, NJ, when her illness reappeared.

Renowned for her powerful live vocal performances, Adele has been advised by doctors that she'll need an extended rest period in order to begin to recuperate properly. Further details to follow regarding these cancelled dates. Refunds may be obtained at point of purchase.

Save the Date: Hocus Pocus Pops with the Houston Symphony Oct. 28 at
The Pavilion

Consider this your ghoulish invitation to join the Houston
Symphony for a "bootiful" evening filled with "terrorific"
music at The Pavilion's Hocus Pocus Pops Oct. 28 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 for orchestra seating. Mezzanine and lawn seating are free courtesy of H-E-B. Tickets are not required for free seating. Gates open at 6 p.m.

HPPDaddies, mummies and all the little ghosts and goblins are invited to dress up in their favorite Halloween costumes for a chance to walk on stage during the concert. The first 100 children in costume to check in at Hocus Pocus Central in the Fidelity Investments Plaza can participate in the Goblin Parade that snakes across the stage during the symphony's performance.

For a delightful "exfearience," arrive early for "spooktacular" pre-concert activities with arts and crafts, costumed characters, trick or treating and more! Creep into the House of Blues Hospitality Tent for Radio Disney's
Graveyard Smash Dance Party featuring the Radio Disney Boo Crew from 6-7:15 p.m. for "fangtastic" dancing, "spooktacular" prizes and plenty of tricks and treats!

HPP2For "monsterous" prizes, register to win one of two gift baskets provided by H-E-B and The Pavilion by bringing any H-E-B receipt from October 2011 to Hocus Pocus Pops. Receipts must be brought to Hocus Pocus Central in the Fidelity Investments Plaza prior to the performance
(between 6 and 7:15 p.m.).
