No blankets, tarps, towels, umbrellas or lawn chairs. Lawn chairs will NOT be sold at this event. No professional (detachable lens) cameras, video or audio recording devices. No food or beverages. No bottles, glass, cans or large containers of any kind. No chains, spikes, mace, binoculars, flashlights, fireworks or laser pointers. No weapons, toy guns or any type of replica pistol. No glow sticks of any kind. No soft wristbands, beach balls, etc. will be allowed. No gifts allowed through the gates; must leave gifts with staff at gate. No signs. No purses, backpacks or bags of any kind. NO RE-ENTRY.

It's a Sizzling September at The Pavilion

The first official day of fall is today, but it is just starting to heat up at The Pavilion. This weekend, some of the hottest touring groups are scheduled to perform in The Woodlands including Def Leppard today, Maroon 5 and Train tomorrow, Journey with Foreigner and Night Ranger Sunday and blink-182 and My Chemical Romance Monday.

 

"This weekend will be one of the busiest weekends in The Pavilion's 22-year history," said Jerry MacDonald, president and CEO of The Pavilion. "We are on tap for four days of back-to-back concerts including two sold-out shows - Maroon 5 and Train tomorrow and Journey with Foreigner and Night Ranger on Sunday. We are expecting more than 55,000 concertgoers to come through our gates between Friday and Monday."

So far this season, The Pavilion has had nine sold-out concerts including Arcade Fire May 4, Jimmy Buffett & the Coral Reefer Band May 5, Stevie Nicks Aug. 13, 94.5 The Buzz/Bud Light Weenie Roast Aug. 28, Kid Rock with Sheryl Crow Sept. 3, Maroon 5 and Train Sept. 24, Journey with Foreigner and Night Ranger Sept. 25, Adele Oct. 18 and Buzzfest XXVII Oct. 22.

 

The Pavilion's remaining fall schedule includes Incubus Sept. 30, Judas Priest Oct. 15, Chris Brown Oct. 16, Adele Oct. 18, Buzzfest XXVII Oct. 22, Houston Symphony's Hocus Pocus Pops Oct. 28, Zac Brown Band Oct. 30, and the 16th Annual Children's Festival Nov. 12 and 13.

Music in Motion a Success

Music in Motion, an educational event produced by The Pavilion, was held Sept. 17 at Oak Ridge High School. Conroe Independent School District high school band and orchestra students were invited to attend free All-State Master Classes taught by Houston Symphony musicians. Over 250 students attended the event. Check out the video below for some highlights!
