Join The Pavilion for the FREE Made in America concert featuring the Texas Music Festival Orchestra Friday at 8 p.m. More than 100 gifted musicians from around the world, in conjunction with the Immanuel and Helen Olshan Texas Music Festival, return to The Pavilion for a summer concert extraordinaire.

 

Arrive early and get a FREE Pavilion t-shirt, while supplies last. T-shirts will be given away to the first 500 guests to visit the North Plaza starting at 7 p.m.  

 

Pavilion TalkStick around and listen to Pavilion Talk with Ira J. Black from 7:15-7:45 p.m. and get insight about the evening's performance. Alan Austin, general and artistic director for the Texas Music Festival, also will be making an appearance during Pavilion Talk.

 

Don't miss this great program featuring Jennifer Higdon's "blue cathedral" and Aaron Copland's Symphony No. 3 under the direction of Mei-Ann Chen. Bring a picnic (no beverages) and enjoy a free concert under the stars at The Pavilion.

There is still time to enter The Eagles Cover Contest that allows fans to show off their talent by doing their own rendition of The Eagles' hit song "Hotel California." The winner will receive four VIP tickets to The Music of The Eagles with the Houston Symphony July 2 at The Pavilion, along with four VIP club tickets, one VIP parking pass and a $100 gift certificate to Market Street!
