Featured Artist: James Taylor

James Taylor returns to The Pavilion with an intimate performance April 22 at 8 p.m.

James TaylorThroughout his successful career, Taylor has earned 40 gold, platinum and multi-platinum awards and five Grammy Awards. He was awarded with the 1998 Century Award from Billboard magazine and was inducted into both the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriter's Hall of Fame in 2000.

Taylor's career started in 1968 when he was signed to the Beatles' Apple Records and recorded "James Taylor," his first and only solo effort for the company. In 1970, Taylor released "Sweet Baby James," which went triple-platinum and contained his first Top 10 hit, "Fire and Rain."

Taylor's music encompasses the art of songwriting at its best and his decades of experience are apparent throughout his impressive performances. Don't miss your chance to spend an evening with James Taylor at The Pavilion April 22. For more information or to buy tickets, click here.

Check out the House of Blues Hospitality Tent at The Pavilion before, during and after the show!

The Pavilion's social networking sites are continuing to grow! With increased participation from our fans, our sites are becoming a great place to have a conversation, ask questions, find out the latest Pavilion news, and check out photos and videos from events. The Pavilion has more than 8,100 fans on Facebook, 1,079 followers on Twitter, 72 videos on YouTube and 2,341 photos on Flickr.

During the off-season, we have given fans more behind-the-scenes experiences including a tour of the backstage catering area and dressing room building, discussions with staff about improvements to The Pavilion and interviews with staff about their roles at The Pavilion.

Following The Pavilion's "Saturday Night Live" gala Feb. 26, numerous photos were posted to our social networking sites. Fans provided a lot of feedback about the variety of "SNL" costumes at the gala, as well as the photos of The Blues Brothers, starring Dan Aykroyd and Jim Belushi. Fans who were unable to attend the gala could experience the event that only happens "once in a blue moon."
