Don't Miss The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival April 9-10
The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival weekend event is a celebration of visual, culinary and performing arts. The Festival gives patrons the rare and special opportunity to meet and talk with artists from around the country, sample great food, enjoy live music and entertain their families in the interactive 'ARTOPOLY' tent. The event takes place Sat., April 9 from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. and Sun., April 10 from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Adult tickets are $10.00, a weekend pass is $15.00, and children 12 and under are admitted for free. Charity Partners with the Festival, including The Pavilion P artners, the official volunteer organization of The Pavilion, provide tremendous volunteer support for the festival. Hats Off to Reading Celebration Encourages a Lifelong Love of Reading
The annual Hats off to Reading Celebration is April 20 at 5:30 p.m. in The Pavilion's House of Blues Hospitality Tent prior to the Houston Symphony's Out of This World performance. Hats Off to Reading is a free event for children of all ages sponsored by the Reading Odyssey Committee, a partnership between Montgomery County Memorial Library System, Conroe ISD librarians, St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School Li brary, Chick-fil-A, Scholastic Books and The Pavilion. This event promotes student literacy and a love of reading. Children can take home a free book and participate in literacy-based activities such as a book walk, hat-making, face painting, fishing for prizes, a coloring contest and more! After the event, guests are encouraged to participate in other pre-concert activities in the Fidelity Investments Plaza beginning at 6 p.m. prior to taking their seats for the Houston Symphony's performance.
