The Moody Blues released their first album, "Days of Future Passed," in 1967 and have continued to produce their unique style of music that incorporates classical and pop-rock genres. The band consists of Justin Hayward, guitarist/vocalist, John Lodge, bassist/vocalist and Graeme Edge, drummer. They have sold more than 70 million albums worldwide and have been awarded 14 platinum and gold discs. Due to their numerous sold-out tours over several decades, The Moody Blues are one of the top-grossing album and touring bands of all time.
The group also has become notable among many major music journals around the world. "The sounds of The Moody Blues can only be described as sublime," says Music Connection, a monthly music trade publication. "While most rock bands waved banners of anger, protest and confusion, the Moodies always offered rock fans another option with eloquent songs that have called for reverence, compassion and insight."
Their music offers a unique experience for concertgoers that encompasses rock and roll with a feeling of connectedness, commitment and a sentiment of peace. Don't miss your chance to see The Moody Blues live in concert at The Pavilion April 29. For more information, click here.
