Featured Artist: Maroon 5
Enjoy the pop-rock sound of Maroon 5, one of the most popular bands of this decade, at The Pavilion Friday, Oct. 22 at 7:30 p.m. One Republic and Ry Cumming join the bill for a great evening of music.
Adam Levine, vocals/guitar, Jesse Carmichael, keyboards, Mickey Madden, bass, Ryan Dusick, drums, and James Valentine, guitar, formed Maroon 5 in the late 90s. The group signed with Octone Records in 2001 and released "Songs About Jane" in 2002. They were pushed into the mainstream and their album hit the Billboard Top Ten in August 2004.
By fall 2006, Dusick sustained wrist and shoulder injuries from constant touring and was officially replaced by Matt Flynn. After the change, Maroon 5 released "It Won't Be Soon Before Long" in May 2007. In late 2008, "Call and Response: The Remix Album" was released featuring remixes by Mary J. Blige, Mark Ronson and Pharrell Williams.
Maroon 5 is currently touring in support of "Hands All Over," released in September 2010. Don't miss their tour stop at The Pavilion Friday at 7:30 p.m. For more information and to buy tickets, click here.
Check out the House of Blues Hospitality Tent at The Pavilion before, during and after the show! It opens at 5:30 p.m. Friday for Maroon 5 and remains open approximately one hour after the concert. Admission is free for all concertgoers. Enjoy air-conditioning, private restrooms, a full-service bar, appetizer menu and live video-feed of the concert, when available. The House of Blues Hospitality Tent is open for most Live Nation shows at The Pavilion. For more information, click here.
