Explore Your Imagination at the 15th Annual Children's Festival

The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion transforms into a giant playground of fun at the 15th Annual Children's Festival. Here, the young and young at heart can enjoy a bounty of activities that enlighten and entertain. The event takes place Saturday, Nov. 13 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 14 from noon to 5 p.m. Tickets are $8 in advance or $10 at the door.
A featured performance at this year's festival is Mad Science's CSI: Live! The thrilling and popular television show hits the stage with an exciting and interactive journey through the fascinating world of crime scene investigations. When a crime rattles the Las Vegas premiere of the Max Spade Magic Show, the CSI team springs into action. Audience members transform into witnesses, suspects and CSI recruits. Whether analyzing mysterious gasses or firing a laser beam across the stage, children and adults alike will love this mind-blowing production that incorporates cutting-edge forensic science and amazing visual effects.
Tickets are $8 in advance or $10 at the door. This admission fee includes all shows and activities. Children age 2 and under are admitted free. Picnics are welcome, but beverages cannot be brought into the venue.

Featured Artist: Brad Paisley
The Brad Paisley H2O World Tour presented by Chevy makes a stop at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion Aug. 6 at 7:30 p.m. Come early when gates open at 5 p.m. and enjoy a fun-filled "Water World Plaza" sponsored by Chevy, Skinny Water, Sea Ray Boats and GAC - Great American Country.
The H2O World Tour will hit more than 75 cities in the United States, Canda and Europe. The "Water World Plaza" will turn every city, including The Woodlands, into a water festival. The "Water World Plaza Stage" will feature the newest stars of country, Easton Corbin, Steel Magnolia and Josh Thompson. There also will be other activities throughout the plaza for guests to enjoy, including Chevy Corvette simulators, a Chevy H2O FLW fishing simulator and Chevy vehicle display. Guests can then head over to the main stage to listen to Darius Rucker and Justin Moore prior to Paisley.
"I've never been this excited about a tour," Paisley said. "After one of the worst winters I can remember, we're going to make up for it this summer."
Brad Paisley is a singer, songwriter, guitarist and entertainer who has earned three Grammy's, 12 Academy of Country Music Awards and 13 Country Music Association Awards. Through his eight albums, he has reached sales of more than10 million units. "American Saturday Night" is his most recent album, and fittingly, "Water" is his current single. Each of Paisley's tours have placed in the Top 5 in Pollstar for attendance and his 2009 "American Saturday Night" tour played to nearly 1.2 millions fans.

It opens at 4 p.m. Aug. 6 for Brad Paisley and remains open approximately one  hour after the concert. Admission is free for all concert-goers. Enjoy air-conditioning, private restrooms, a full-service bar, appetizer menu and live video-feed of the concert, when available.
