Greetings!

THANK YOU!  Thank you to each and everyone of you!   When I told you that I would be traveling to Syria as part of a humanitarian delegation organized by Common Humanity (www.commonhumanity.org) I asked for your support.  You responded with generous donations for the Iraqi refugee children, financial donations and words of encouragement.

All of the gifts were given directly to Iraqi refugee children and they were greatly appreciated!  All of the financial contributions were used to purchase baby formula, which was desperately needed.  Many of the mothers are unable to breastfeed, due to malnutrition and sadly the infants were simply being fed tea with sugar.  Your gifts have truly made a difference in the lives of many!

Each member of the delegation also brought gifts and donated financially.  Collectively, we able to bring tokens of friendships to help build bridges between the people of our countries.

Again, on behalf of the Iraqi refugees who have received your generous donations, thank you for all you have contributed.

I invite you to read our article regarding the trip to Syria.

In Harmony,
Wendy

  • CCB recently donated additional books to the West Chester Area Day Care Center.

  • Over the past six months CCB has been building a relationship with an orphanage in Ethiopia.  We were recently able to provide the facility with much needed humanitarian aid.  CCB donated large quantities of  children's vitamins, fever medicine, antibiotic ointment, diaper cream, teething gel, clothing and more!  We also were able to donate more than 50 knitted baby caps from our Warm Caps for Babies ProgramWe are thankful to all of the volunteers here and also in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia who helped make this possible.  We are continuing our relationship with the manager of this orphanage and will be sending more supplies in the future.  If you are interested in helping with this program, please email programs@childrencreatingbridges.org.
