When I told people that God was calling me away from my home and job and people to move across the country to a place where I had never been, many were puzzled but most eventually accepted my decision to follow the call. People had many questions, and I could only tell them what I knew. God didn't tell me everything; you only need to know the next step in order to move. I told them what church I would be attending, because God had revealed that to me. So when God moved me to another church almost 5 years later people were again puzzled. The question I kept hearing is "I thought you moved to Houston to attend that church?" No, I moved to Houston because God told me to, and I attended that church because God told me to, and I moved to the new church when God told me to.

I think as followers of God we need to make sure we're sensitive to God's leading. We can't get too comfortable with the last instructions. We can't act as if we only have to follow or obey God one time. He is the living God, and He is not static. People sometimes act as if I missed God just because the instructions changed. God is taking me to a heavenly destination, and if He has to move me through a hundred earthly destinations in order to get me there He will, and I will follow Him every time. We learn different things from different people and different places, and we have lessons to teach others. We go through different seasons and each one prepares us for the next one. I pray that you will follow God's leading wherever it takes you, and that you won't let anyone dissuade you from moving with the presence of God.
