A Message from Anointed Messenger
There have been many times in my life when there were temptations or pressures to cave in to some way other than God's very best. God says "I love you, I will take care of you, and supply all your needs"; but fear says "you've got to take care of yourself, if you don't act now you'll be sorry." I think about Abraham and Sarah. I imagine that it was fear that drove Abraham to have an offspring with Sarah's maid. Sarah probably pressured Abraham out of fear. Abram you're getting older, you can't afford to wait any longer. I know you have a promise from God but your time is running out. So Abraham and Sarah's maid produced Ishmael. [Genesis 16]
There are still pressures to give in to fear rather than God's love today. As a single person I know there are many pressures on singles to be led by fear instead of Love. Fear says you have to settle for less than your heart's desire because "time is running out." Love says "you are worth waiting for." Fear says "I have to be with someone because I am afraid to be alone." Love says "I am with you because I have chosen you and I love you." Love walks on the water towards Jesus; Fear looks at the wind and the waves and starts sinking.
We can take comfort in the fact that God Himself has chosen us and loves us, so when the world seems to be spinning out of control we don't have to give in to fear. We don't have to run our finances out of fear because we can rest secure in God's love, knowing He will supply every need. I pray you will be motivated by Love, and not fear.

17By this, (A)love is perfected with us, so that we may have (B)confidence in (C)the day of judgment; because (D)as He is, so also are we in this world.
18There is no fear in love; but (E)perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not (F)perfected in love.
1 John 4:17-18 NASB
