A Message from Anointed Messenger
This week I've been talking about letting go, which trust me wasn't my plan - God kept giving me the messages. I know people have been saying let go and let God for centuries but I don't think we really get it. I think about Abraham and Isaac. When God told Abraham GO SACRIFICE YOUR SON Abraham went and did it immediately [Genesis 22:2]. He didn't argue. He didn't say Lord how can this be when You said this son would be my heir? We've got to be so sensitive to God's voice that even if He says something that seems to contradict what He previously said we act on it. Abraham was willing to let Isaac go, trusting God could bring him back - even from death.
I think about the disciples and followers of Jesus on that first Good Friday. God said Jesus would be the Messiah, the Savior of their people. They thought He would free them from the oppression of the Roman government - and now He was dead. I think the Faith movement did wonders for The Church, but I wonder if we've gotten out of balance. I think sometimes we cling tighter to the promises than we cling to God. We've got to be open enough to let God move in whatever way He chooses. Peter recognized that Jesus was the Messiah [Matt 16:16] but later he rebuked Jesus for talking about His impending death [Mark 8:32]. Peter had to let go of his idea of how God was going to work it out - and so do we.
There have been things in my life that I was sure God spoke to me about, but they didn't come to pass in the way I thought they would. When I exhausted what I could do, rather than try to force it I had to lay it down, trusting God has a way I do not know. I must trust God has the power to resurrect even dead promises. On Good Friday we remember that Jesus died, but we call it good because we know He was also resurrected. God's Beloved remember our God is a resurrecting God; and death comes before resurrection.

Then God said, "Take your son, your only son, whom you love-Isaac-and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on a mountain I will show you."
Genesis 22:2 NIV
17 By faith Abraham, when God tested him, offered Isaac as a sacrifice. He who had embraced the promises was about to sacrifice his one and only son, 18 even though God had said to him, "It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned."[c] 19 Abraham reasoned that God could even raise the dead, and so in a manner of speaking he did receive Isaac back from death.
Hebrews 11:17-19 NIV
"I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die;
From John 11:25 NIV
