A Message from Anointed Messenger
Those words are taken from Romans 8:17 and they remind us that those who bear the name of Christ will experience suffering, but it is so we can share His glory. If I ever meet Bishop TD Jakes I'm going to have to ask him if he recognizes me, because he's always saying "I don't know who I'm preaching to." Well it's me! Often I feel like he's delivering a Word just for me. If you ever watch this dynamic preacher you probably feel the same way. Today I just want to share my notes from a recent sermon of his. Jakes talks about going through the fire and getting to know God in the flames. You may be aware of recent Anointed Messages about going through the fire. Bishop Jakes also talks about the importance of letting go of that which is dead. I know God is a resurrection God, but we have to let God be the One to do the resurrecting. We defile ourselves when we touch dead things.
I pray you will be blessed by my notes, which will be soil for upcoming Anointed Messages. Here are my notes:

And if we are [His] children, then we are [His] heirs also: heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ [sharing His inheritance with Him]; only we must share His suffering if we are to share His glory.
Romans 8:17 AMP
For just as Christ's [[a]own] sufferings fall to our lot [b][as they overflow upon His disciples, and we share and experience them] abundantly, so through Christ comfort (consolation and encouragement) is also [shared and experienced] abundantly by us.
2 Corinthians 1:5 AMP
That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
Philippians 3:10 KJV
10 I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead. I want to suffer with him, sharing in his death, 11 so that one way or another I will experience the resurrection from the dead!
Philippians 3:10-11 NLT
