Yesterday I reminded subscribers that the Anointed Messages go out as the Spirit leads rather than every day. I understand that many people would like to receive messages every day but I know I have to do what I believe God is leading me to do. One faithful reader said she understood and realized God's way and plans for me were not meant to be in sync with others. I took issue with that because I believe that ALL things are working together for the good of ALL of those who love God. The issue is we don't always like the way God is leading us/others, even though it ultimately works for our good. I think about how often someone is doing things contrary to our heart's desires, so it feels to us like they must be out of God's will. I know I've been there. But the truth is sometimes we want things for others and from others that are not God's very best.

This weekend one of my mentors Joyce Meyer talked about how God removes our props to force us to lean only on Him. It's so true. Even the good things in our lives that kept us focused on God sometimes have to be removed. Counselors, friends, feelings, physical manifestations - all these things are aids. As we mature we have to know how to lean on God alone and not these aids. Can you imagine a person using training wheels on a bicycle for 30 years? I know that there are many people who have looked to Anointed Messages for a word of encouragement. I think that's awesome and I am honored, but I trust on those days when there is no message they will seek God directly. I know that there are many who forward Anointed Messages to their various flocks; and I pray those shepherds will step up and send out their own words to encourage their people.

God's Beloved being in sync with God doesn't mean that you always get what you want. Part of growing up is not getting what you want. It's learning how to withstand storms and then how to rise above them. It's realizing that we all have free will and people will often make choices that hurt/displease us. It's learning to trust God rather than your feelings or circumstances. It's discovering that everything that seems good is not always good for us at all times. I pray that you will be in sync with God; because all things will work for your good and you'll keep going from glory to glory to glory...
