| World's Biggest House Party |
|
On October 3 and 4, people all across Washtenaw County and Southeast Michigan celebrated Habitat's work at various house parties. This unique fundraiser was an opportunity for individuals to raise money to give a hand up, not a hand out to families in need of decent and safe homes. The funds raised will directly support our house projects. Thank you to all of those who participated in this event by either hosting a party or by being a guest at one of the parties! Due to the success of the event and the interest of individuals that were unable to participate that weekend, we are extending the event into the holidays. The holidays are the perfect time to bring together your family, friends and co-workers to celebrate good fortune and contribute to the mission of affordable housing right here in our community. If you are interested in hosting a party this holiday season, please contact Megan Rodgers at mrodgers@h4h.org.

Together we can do great things!

| MAVDevelopment Partners with Habitat |
|
For the second year in a row, MAVDevelopment is partnering with Habitat to renovate a home in the Lincoln School District in Ypsilanti. As the lead sponsors of the house, MAVDevelopment will be contributing significant funds to the project as well as volunteer hours from the firm's staff. MAVDevelopment's Chairman Michael Vlasic is very glad to be such an integral part of the solution to affordable housing in our community, "We believe that the strength of a community comes from within. It grows from its people, its organizations and its businesses. That is why our MAVDevelopment team is committed to working with Habitat for Humanity. It is intensely gratifying and encouraging to see the positive spirit and shared dedication to improving one family's life and the future of the entire community. This is what makes communities strong."
We are proud of our continued partnership with MAVDevelopment!
They show a true commitment to the issue of affordable housing here in Washtenaw County, and we are grateful for their generosity and support.
