ReStore Anniversary Celebration
|
| Come celebrate with us on September 20 from 8:00am - 4:00pm. The events will take place at the Habitat ReStore, located at 170 Aprill Drive in Ann Arbor. A tent sale will feature silent auction items from 9:00am - 11:00am, as well as name-your-own-price and discounted ReStore items. A trunk sale will also be held, where individuals and vendors will have an assortment of their items for sale in the ReStore parking lot. There will also be activities for children throughout the day and refreshments will be available from 10:00am - 2:00pm.
The Habitat ReStore is a shopper's outlet for building and home improvement materials. We sell overstocked, discontinued, new and gently used building materials as well as appliances, cabinets, furniture, and tools and accept donations of same. Merchandise sold at the ReStore is donated by local corporations, contractors, remodelers, and individuals. Proceeds go towards Habitat's work of supporting families in Washtenaw County to become owners of simple, decent, affordable homes. We do so through our zero percent interest mortgage program. Habitat for Humanity is proud of the collective effort that ReStores across the country are making toward recycling and reducing that which would otherwise end up in landfills.
The ReStore is open to the public Monday through Friday 10:00am - 6:00pm and Saturday 8:00am - 4:00pm. Everyone is welcome. |

| Garland Street Rehab Dedication to be Held on September 21 |
Our first rehab of the year, located at 326 Garland Street in Ypsilanti, will be dedicated to Robert Kraft on Sunday, September 21 at 2:00pm. Please join Robert and the entire Habitat family in celebrating the completion of our first of many rehabs to come! |
| 113 and 117 Miles Street Rehabs Underway |
| Two new rehab projects have just begun side by side on Miles Street in Ypsilanti. These homes are co-sponsored by Habitat's University of Michigan Campus Chapter, MAV Development and TCF Bank. However, additional sponsorship is needed in order to complete renovations on both homes. 113 Miles will be the home of Brian Stewart and Ann Clouse along with their four boys.

Just announced this week is the future homeowner of 117 Miles as Ms. Robin Lee and her family. Congratulations to both of these families as we begin the exciting process of making the homes their own.
