Boot Camp For Goddesses, Comes to Maui Community College, April 21st-26th
8 Ways to Increase Self-Love
Women in search of the
perfect spring renewal will be thrilled to know that Boot Camp for Goddesses
will be coming to Maui
Community College this
Spring. Led by international retreat
leader, Sierra Bender, Boot Camp for Goddesses is a holistic fitness program
that is designed specifically for women.
Sierra's four-pronged approach to health and fitness incorporates
the spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical. "To become truly
powerful, you have to be fit in
more than just your physical body", says Bender.

Managing Across Generations
April 21 & 23, 2009
 Understanding
the challenges and rewards of multiple generations working together is a
fitting topic for contemporary work teams and leaders. Most businesses today employ work forces
comprised of as many as four generations of employees. Our healthier lifestyles coupled with increased
longevity of life have lengthened the working capacity of the Veteran (born
before 1946) and Boomer (born 1946 -1964) generations. The impact of the recent
economic downturn and diminishing retirement income has prompted many seasoned
Boomers to opt to work longer. At the
same time, swelling numbers of younger generations are entering the workforce
enthusiastic, highly skilled and poised to grow their careers.
Vitec's upcoming workshop entitled "Managing Across
Generations" invites participants to share perspectives about how multiple
generations function together. A premise
of the workshop discussion is that generations have been impacted by the values
and life experiences unique to their generations. As participants recognize
how generations view the world differently, they gain insights on how to tap
into the strengths of each generation.
They also learn how to adapt their styles to communicate, motivate and
work more effectively with people of different generations.
