| Gross Catholic High School |
Greetings!
Last Saturday, the Cougar Family joined together to support the students and programs of Gross Catholic with Safari CeleBration 28.
Our chair couples Bruce & Toni Lundak and Phil '86 and Diane Skryja Knicky '86 welcomed 440 alumni, parents, and friends to the big event. The evening was huge success, raising $220,000 for our school.
We wish to thank all the parents, alumni, and students who worked so hard to create such an enjoyable evening. Through their efforts, our school was transformed into a fabulous safari adventure. I am always amazed at the beautiful decorations and the many, many terrific items donated to our auctions.
We also wish to thank the many corporate sponsors who provided gifts, underwriting, or sponsored tables. These acts of stewardship provide a wonderful example for our students and help us model the importance of giving back to our community.
CeleBration is a lovely evening where we join together to support a school close to our hearts. The extraordinary bond of the Cougar Family is never more evident than when we gather together on this night.
On a personal note, I want to thank you for honoring me with the Dux Esto Award. I was very touched by the gesture. I have truly enjoyed working with all students, staff, parents, alumni, and friends I have come to know over my 38-year career at Gross Catholic.
As always, we thank you for supporting our fundraising efforts, benefiting the young men and women of Gross Catholic. We are very grateful for your generosity.
Sincerely, Beckie Cleveland President |
