| Gross Catholic High School |
Greetings!
As we enjoy unseasonably warm weather this week, I hope you and your family had time to relax this holiday season and your new year is off to a good start.
The students and teachers are getting back in the swing of things here at Gross Catholic with many plans for the second semester.
The student council wants to welcome back the student body with a skating party this Saturday that sounds like fun.
Our student Marianist LIFE community will help us celebrate our Marianist heritage with Founders Week on January 17-20, culminating with Mass for Blessed William Joseph Chaminade's Feast Day. We will also begin a service project to collect funds to support the Marianist school of Our Lady of Nazareth in Nairobi, Kenya. Last year, the Cougar Family was able to provide a year's tuition for thirteen OLN students.
We are also kicking off our plans for CeleBration 28 with our chaircouples and current parents Dr. Bruce & Toni Lundak and Phil '86 & Diane Skryja Knicky '86. We hope you will support this important fundraising event by volunteering on a committee, selling raffle tickets, buying a gold cup, or attending the event on Saturday, April 28.
Best wishes for a happy new year and we look forward to seeing you at school. Sincerely, Beckie Cleveland, President
