"Back to School!"

September 2009 Edition
Shutterfly Collage
Dear Alumni,

As we approach Homecoming Week 2009 "Where the Wild Things Are," there is an increased aura of excitement and school spirit. The alumni Homecoming tailgate on game day is an excellent opportunity to gather with friends and alumni to support Gross Catholic and have FUN! At last year's party, we celebrated 40 years of Gross Catholic High School, and we are planning for another big crowd! New this year is a chili cook-off and car decorating contest!  See all the exciting events for the week below.

We have revamped our alumni e-newsletter to help you keep up with your classmates.  This month's issue celebrates "Back to School" and we are featuring your children and our young alumni as they head back to school! Not all of the photos can be included in the body of the newsletter so there is a link for you to click on and view everyone's first day.  In addition to the photo section, we are including more alumni updates. We love to hear what you are doing and what is going on with your families.

The October issue of the electronic newsletter will focus on the fall season and Halloween.  Please submit photos of your kids, family and/or friends playing in the leaves, visiting the pumpkin patch, attending a Husker game, etc. We'd also love to see photos of your children or YOURSELF, and family in Halloween costumes.  Be sure to include the names and the ages and/or grade in school of the children.  Please send photos and any alum news updates by October 15th to Mikaela VanMoorleghem.

As always, our alumni are an important part of this family.  We are proud of you and we always like to know how you are doing and to hear your feedback about our programs!
