Fall Sports Parents Meeting August 16 at 7:00 pm
Parents of all students planning on participating in a fall sport are required to attend this informational meeting.
Athletic Physicals Any student participating in athletics must have a current physical before beginning practice or tryouts. Physicals may be done at your family physicians, walk-in medical clinics, or at Children's Physicians Office, Dr. Jane Carnazzo & Associates, 4224 S. 50th St. on Monday, August 10th from 6:00 - 9:00 pm. Cost: $35 donation to Gross Athletic Programs (specify sport). Make check payable to Gross Catholic.
Fall Sports Tryouts The green clearance/parental consent form must be completed and returned to the school office before beginning practice. Your Permit to Participate Card will be available in the school office beginning August 3rd or at Book Day on August 13th.

All students, including seniors, must have their class pictures taken on this day. These photos will be used for student ID cards. All students must be in dress code. Information concerning purchase was mailed home, but no purchases are required.

| Senior Sunrise Breakfast |

August 18 at 8:00 am Senior Deck
Seniors are invited to begin their year united, as one, with the Senior Breakfast. Proceeds from the breakfast help fund the seniors' graduation gift to their school, including the 2010 Class Scholarship. This scholarship assists an incoming freshman for the 2010-2011 school year. Breakfast hosted by the National Honor Society.
Cost: $15 for Senior Breakfast or $20.10 for the Senior Breakfast & Class of 2010 Scholarship and Class Gift Fund.
RSVP by August 13th at Book Night. Direct payment to the attention of Mrs. Sweetmon.

Denny Novacek, current parent and father of Nicole '01, Sarah '05 & Kristen '10 is battling pancreatic cancer. The fundraiser for Denny will include a live auction, silent auction, $1,000 raffle, food & fun! Admission: $10 with kids under 12 free. The Gross Catholic Wrestling staff invite all Gross Catholic alumni wrestlers and their families to join them for an evening of fun celebrating the tradition of Cougar Wrestling! Evening includes prizes and a wing-eating contest. 15% of the evenings proceeds will be donated to the Cougar Wrestling program. For more information, contact Coach Mike DeGeorge.
