Foreclosure?  Not so Fast
The mounting foreclosure document mess has given consumer activists ammunition to keep delinquent clients in their homes while negotiating more favorable terms.  Banks are foreclosing on homes without holding proper paperwork and procedure to do so. In the past 2 weeks, GMAC, Chase and Bank of America have taken the unusual step of suspending tens of thousands of foreclosures in 23 U.S states.
