 I'm getting Emails, Facebook messages and people coming up to me everyday asking when will the Hawaii prints be ready for sale and when and were will I be doing a "Hawaii Gallery Reception". I'm overwhelmed and honored with everyone's anticipation to see and buy my work. The answer is "hang tight". I promise that in the months to come I'll be announcing some exciting news for a Hawaii show. I'm going through all the photos now editing them and trying to decide what is the most dramatic way to present them as well as what venue I will choose.
Some of my thoughts are to present at least 20 new prints in many different sizes as well as some new sizes such as large format panoramas. I'm also thinking about some different mediums like canvas and metallic prints. As far as a venue, my thoughts are to keep it in the village I love and that's Suffern at my Gallery/Martial Arts Studio.
I'd like to do it as an all day event with food, wine, beverages and of course some live music. In the mean time I'll keep posting different shots from my journey on both my Michael Malandra Photography fan page and also my personal page. Some of the upcoming places and events you can see my work are at: my Gallery in Suffern at 14a Lafayette Ave, I'm entering 4 pieces into the St. Catherine of Bologna Art Exhibition in Ringwood, NJ on March 18th, 19th and 20th and last but not least I'm working on getting a booth at the Banff Outdoor Adventure Film Festival that's coming to Suffern on Wednesday, March 2.
As most already know, I'm heavily involved with the Vincent Crotty Memorial Foundation and will be donating 10% of all my sales to the foundation from the events and shows I appear at.
