Most vendors in home shows have all their required
credentials in line, but not all...

Greetings!

home show

This time of year, all the local home and garden shows are scheduled and some well under way!  Hundreds of vendors will exhibit at booths providing insight to their products and services.  As this is also a routine time of year for homeowners to make decisions about what they will take care of, take on, and tackle for many home maintenance and upgrading projects; it's important to proceed with care, caution, and pertinent information.

Most vendors and contractors exhibiting in shows have all their required credentials in line, but not all will.  There are some whose booths will be beautiful and attractive and will lure you inside to learn more.  Don't be completely assuming that because they are in the show that they have all the necessary licensing and insurance they should.  It is not uncommon to discover a sprinkling of exhibitors around a show floor whose credentials aren't what they are cracked up to be. Find out what to look for and ask to ensure you are working with a reputatble contractor in the end.

Some fun
Statue of Liberty
 Trivia

Statue of Liberty

In the Statue of Liberty there are:

354 stairs

25 windows in Lady Liberty's crown

The statue weighs 450,000 pounds

There are seven spikes in Lady Liberty's crown supposedly representing either our seven oceans or our seven contintents

The statue is made of copper and is now green in color because of oxidation (a chemical reaction between metal and water) from evaporation of the seawater surrounding it

The sandals worn on the statue are size 879 and each are 25 feet long
