Who is judging who on Yelp.com? 
Since its launch in 2005, Yelp has become known as a website where both review readers and review posters can read and post alike, reviews on "cool places to eat, shop, drink, relax and play." Yelp claims their information is "based on the informed opinions of a vibrant and active community of locals in the know."
Just who at Yelp decides which locals in the know merit their reviews making publication status and which ones may not? It seems that Yelp has a Review Filtering policy that filters out more than just reviews. See full article. |
