Physical Records Management Applications at Virginia Beach Conference
Today, Infolinx™ Infolinx System Solutions, a leading provider of enterprise physical records management software, announced that they will be exhibiting at the Virginia Association of Government Archives and Records Administrator's (VAGARA) 27th Annual Conference to be held November 2-4, 2011, at the Holiday Inn Virginia Beach-Norfolk Conference Center in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Expanding upon its July 2011 enterprise implementation at the Virginia State Archives and State Records Center, Infolinx will be showcasing the latest version of Infolinx WEB, demonstrating the application's feature-rich functionality supporting the full life-cycle management of physical records.
The conference will feature keynote speaker Karen McDowell PhD., Information Security Specialist with the University of Virginia. McDowell will speak about how to protect your data, identity and computers from the ever-intrusive spread of malware. Records Analysts Glenn T. Smith and Anita Vannucci with the Library of Virginia will provide a session on the challenges of local records programs. Other educational opportunities available at the conference cover a broad range of topics from "the basics, the substance and the recovery" for government archives and records administrators to appraising government records for historical preservation.
