A Total Vision for Wellness
Thank you for welcoming me as part of Dunn Wellness Center!
We are making some new changes to our building and adding services to give you the best total wellness care that we can provide. Please come visit soon!
I want to share my vision for you and
for all my patients - that you come to total
healing spiritually, physically and mentally.
I believe that each person has been born with a purpose and a plan. It's because of that I feel it is my job to nurture the gift of each individual's life. I want to help my patients learn ways to
blend the physical, spiritual and emotional to help develop them into what they are called to be.
In particular, I want to help you achieve this by access of stimulating the brain for proper function.
Since the brain is
the center, I use a variety of techniques to ensure that the
adjustment that is given will provide optimal efficiency for your body so it
can be all it is designed to do. What a difference this can make in your life.
I hope you will find our e-newsletter useful and come by to hear one of our new series of health presentations or try a new service to see how you might have a better, healthier life.

Pretzel Stretch
This is a great stretch to increase low back flexibility, to
release tight muscles in the low back and hip, and an overall good stretch for
anyone who is physically active.
1. Start out sitting with both legs extended
2. Cross one foot over the other knee
3. Rock backwards onto your back while pulling the
back of the leg just below the knee(It is okay if you are unable to keep the leg
straight and does not compromise the integrity of the stretch.)
4. If unable to extend the leg, it simply means
that the hamstrings are tight.
5. Pull the extended leg/bent leg toward the
chest while pushing the crossed leg at the knee, assuming that there are no knee problems.
6. You should feel a stretch in the gluts and low
back and it can sometimes be felt in the groin area as well, depending on the
pressure exerted on the crossed leg.
This stretch is only a suggestion and you should see a doctor if you are experiencing pain.
