Dig out those shoeboxes of old photos! Spring cleaning is the perfect time to bring your prints in to Techlab Photo for scanning. All loose photographs brought in for scanning will be given special pricing this month! The more you bring in, the more you save! 500 or more prints gets you the best price of 55 cents an image! Use the printable coupon to the right to save even more! Even if you have less than 500 you'll save plenty with our March special!
Archive those fading prints before it is too late! Share them with family and friends by having us upload the newly scanned images to our web site! This way you can share them, print them (those that you share with can order prints too!), or even put them on Facebook if you like.
*-all photos for scanning must be loose (taken out of albums - placed in boxes or bags please!) and within the sizes of wallet to 8x12. Polaroids and Kodak instant prints are not included in this special as special efforts must be made in order to scan these effectively. Prints outside the size range can still be scanned but will have alternate pricing. Scan special pricing includes digitization only, no color correction or restoration should be expected. That is available for additional fee, however. |

Photographer of the Month!* Thomas Graves |
|
 Thomas Graves spent nearly 20 years in the newspaper business working as a photographer and photo editor. During that time he worked for many different organizations around the country and his work has been seen in publications worldwide. In 2000 he left The Baltimore Sun and created his own business where he concentrates on weddings and  families, with some corporate shooting as well. He's been a Techlab customer for the past several years and gives high marks to the quality of the work they do. He began at the impressionable age of 12 and had his first publshed photo in the Washington Post at age 15. He earned a journalism degree from Indiana University. When  asked why he became so interested in photography, he said "I pretty much got into photography because I thought it was magic seeing my first print come up in the developer.
Based in a suburb of Washington, Thomas does most of his shooting in the DC/VA/MD area but also travels the east coast from Boston to the Carolinas for weddings and corporate jobs. He has availablity on a limited basis the rest of this wedding season and is taking bookings for next year, though he limits wedding work in order to also shoot commercial jobs

Crop Event at our Baltimore Location! April 15th from 7-11pm, Creative Memories will be on hand and Techlab will have photo kiosks available to get prints while you work on your scrapbook pages!

Walk for Stars Saturday April 25th, 10am. Cedar Lane School students will walk the Maple Lawn Community to raise money to purchase adaptive equipment for the school. Come out and cheer them on! |
