A note from the Manager...
Thinking back over the ten years I have had the privilege of working at Techlab, I am especially excited about this holiday season. We have a particularly great crew this year. All the experience that Shawn, Pat, & Steve bring (over 60 combined years) combined with new talents of Allison, Danny, Sarah, Evan and Kristen, it's a crew any manager would be proud to work with. The vibrance Traci & Kelly bring to the Belvedere store is reflected in customers' faces each time they get to deal with them. And though we wish Melika well in the future as she returns to school in January, she has been an absolute joy to work with.
The opening of our beautiful Maple Lawn location boasts new employees Lindsay, Chris, Chris & Celene who each bring unique talents and bright personalities. The difference I feel this year is the "can do" attitude of all. So with that, cheers to my crew.
Also, this year feels like the right year for more personal gifts - and few things touch a person like photos of loved ones from newborns to great grandparents to pets. There is so much you can do with your favortite photo. My personal favorites are always playing cards and this year we have wonderful new throw pillows, quilts and a quilted tote bag. Some of these are perfect for the people who "have everything," or say "don't get me anything." Don't they understand that we want to give them something to express love, friendship or gratitude? Techlab has some of the best gifts you will be excited about giving, and in my opinion, that's what it's all about.
Lastly, I'd like to say "Thank You" to all of our customers. I have always felt that Techlab has some of the best customers around. You are the "word of mouth" that keeps us going with pride.

 Saturday, December 6th became the big day for Sasha Draper as she took home the Grand Prize of a month-long showing in the best wine bar / watermelon stand in the land (ask the proprietor!) for January. First prize of "Photographer of the Month at Techlab Photo" and gift cards from Techlab Photo and Grand Cru went to Catherine Gugerty (please email us to set up!) and Second prize went to Bill Wierzalis who received gift cards from Techlab Photo and Grand Cru. |

GRAND OPENING CELEBRATION SUCCESS! |
 Saturday, November 15th we celebrated our return to Howard County with great success. First of all, thank you to all who attended and helped with making it an event to remember. With food provided by Sophie & Skee at the Daily Grind, and flowers supplied by Bellisimo Flowers (see picture to the right) the morning started off right. We really do appreciate how many of you said "We missed you!" and "We're glad you're back, we didn't want to use the mall stores-now we don't have to!"  Family, friends and customers all gathered for great savings as well as some nice giveaways thanks to Bra-La-La, AAA & some from Techlab ourselves. All gifts could definitely be useful at this time of year!
We would like to extend speacial thanks as well to State Delegate Gail Bates and Duane Carey representing the Howard County Chamber of Commerce!
