WE ARE BACK IN HOWARD COUNTY ! |
After almost two years (can you believe it's been that long?), Techlab returns to Howard County! On or about September 1st (watch for details), Techlab will be opening a second location in the Maple Lawn neighborhood just south of Columbia. Located near the intersection of rt. 29 and rt. 216 in Fulton, Maple Lawn is a growing community of residential neighborhoods, businesses, & schools  . There are plenty of dining and shopping options for you to see while visiting our beautiful new store located at 8170 Maple Lawn BLVD on the first floor.
Some current retailers include: Bellisimo Flowers, Bra-La-La, Calico Corners, the Daily Grind, Hyatt, i.m. Wine, & the Pearl Spa & Boutique. See the Maple Lawn Web Site for more information.
What does this mean for you? If you are closer to that side of town, you can visit us without spending as much time in the car or money on gas! If you are from the city or points east and north, it's a great place to visit and have a good meal while having prints made and memories prerserved at Techlab! If you know anyone in the area please let them know we will be there soon! |

Walter L. Margeson III, born of a Navy father and an Icelandic mother, he claims his wanderlust is genetic. He attributes his love of photography to his parents as well believing it is the logical expression of his mother's artistic talents and his father's desire to document history. |

He likes to shoot images that capture often overlooked cultural slices of the places he visits & enjoys the peaceful commune with nature enabled through wildlife photography. Vintage signs and juxtaposition are other themes of his lens work. Walter is intentionally vague about his image locations hoping that others seeks to find their own inspirational spots off the beaten path.

From 12-5 Sundays we are open for most services. No E-6 or Black & White processing are able to be performed, but prints, self-service digital kiosks and some digital services as well as retail are all available.

You may know that we can process film and print pictures from color negatives and digital memory cards, but did you know on the premises we also:
- Passports Photos!
- Make your photos into playing cards
- Scan negatives, prints and slides at high resolution (or lower for web use)
- Custom mat prints and documents to fit the perfect frame
- Scan your prints, negatives and slides so you can have all your images in one spot (though we recommend backups!)
- Recover lost images accidentally deleted from your memory card
- Digital camera classes! Learn one on one how to use your new camera!
- Process and print B&W and medium format films
- Process E-6 and mount slides (as well as make slides from prints and vice-versa)
- Print canvas banners and prints up to 40 inches wide
- Restore damaged and aged photos
- Create special occasion cards (baby, holiday, etc.)
