THIS NEWSLETTER IS DEDICATED TO THE MANY RANDOM ACTS OF LOVING KINDNESS THAT PEOPLE HAVE BEEN DOING IN MICHELLE'S MEMORY.

Dear Friend of MEF,

On this coming Thursday, January 28th, let us all light a candle in remembrance of Michelle on what would have been her 25th birthday. Let our collective light shine on Michelle's compassionate spirit, as we all take steps to tread more lightly on our Earth.
MICHELLE, WE LOVE YOU

Heather Spense teaching marine biology in Cancun, Mexico.

This past winter and spring Heather Spense has been teaching children on Isla Mujeres and in the city of Cancun about the Mesoamerican Coral Reef, the second largest in the world, which borders their beaches. As the students become environmental stewards, they are starting green clubs in their schools. Heather has prepared a bilingual activity book on the marine life of the Mexican Caribbean, helping students to see the reef as a living animal. She's also prepared videos of the students' activities that have been shown on Mexican TV and broadcast in radio stations. Heather is now working on a collaborative effort with students at H-B to interact with these Mexican students.

We at Michelle's Earth Foundation want to thank you for your assistance, volunteerism, guidance, hard work and donations.  Let's all pause to realize that MEF was founded to carry on Michelle's life work.  This task now rests in the hands of all those who loved her or grew to love her after her death.  The many random acts of loving kindness presented in this newsletter are by no means complete.  Please let us know if there are any that were missed.

Sincerely,

Michelle's Earth Foundation
