Do their records include call numbers?
Do they include subject headings?
How about contents notes, complete publisher imprint and copyright information?
Ask for sample records from us and any other cataloging company...and compare them! We are

collections.
Your Users don't always know the titles of the item they
need. Very often their search begins with a "subject" or "keyword"
search and if your MARC catalog records have no subject headings, none
of these items will retrieve for your researcher.

W.S. Hein is offering a subscription of World Constitutions Illustrated to many subscribers of their Core collection for as long as the Core subscription is maintained. Cassidy Cataloguing has partnered with W.S. Hein to create full-MARC21 catalog records which will match these titles!
Cataloging has already begun on these MARC catalog records, which follow Provider-Neutral guidelines. The records are being created for the Constitutions and Books as well as all the websites and other electronic resources such as "Country Reports on Human Rights Practices" and "Background Notes".
Pricing for the World Constitutions Illustrated set of MARC records has been set at $1,100 for the first 1,775 records (approximately $.62 per record!).
