Paterson Habitat for Humanity is an organization dedicated to building affordable houses for lower-income families in the Paterson area. Local companies like Sax Macy Fromm (SMF) partner with Paterson Habitat for Humanity to provide the manpower and money needed to help Paterson-area families realize the dream of owning a home.

This great organization has been building houses in Paterson for 22 years!!!

This summer launches Paterson Habitat for Humanity's 14th annual Corporate Challenge. This two-week event showcases corporations from all over the tri-state area who converge on worksites to help build homes.  In addition to rolling up our sleeves, SMF also works diligently to raise money for the Paterson Habitat for Humanity; funds the organization desperately needs to acquire more building sites in Paterson so it may continue its mission of providing homes for families who can't afford them and help break the cycle of poverty and hopelessness.

The annual Corporate Challenge is our opportunity to work with other local businesses and institutions alongside the individuals who are building their future homes. SMF has been participating for 8 years and it is an event our principals and staff look forward to every year. It's a great opportunity for us to actually participate in an activity that benefits our neighbors in need.

Paterson Habitat for Humanity has helped close to 200 families in the City of Paterson own their own home. It has also assisted in revitalizing areas of Paterson that were in desperate need of attention. Their goal is to build their 208th house this year.
