Man on a Mission - The Story of Fr. Emil Cook
Greetings!

I am very excited to announce that "Man on a Mission" the story of Fr Emil Cook and Mission Honduras International has just been published by ACTA Publications.

From ACTA Publications

Meet Father Emil Cook, the American Franciscan missionary who is changing the lives of the people?especially the children?of Honduras, the Dominican Republic, and Liberia through the love of God and his lifelong efforts to improve their living conditions through education, dignity, and hard work. Mission Honduras International and the Association of Franciscan Boys? and Girls? Towns (APUFRAM), founded by Fr. Emil, are now caring for and educating over 1,000 children each year in some fifteen institutions on two continents.

In Man on a Mission, Barbara Pawlikowski presents the full story behind this inspirational man, the trials and frustrations he has endured, and the achievements and successes he has enjoyed. Interspersed throughout the book are brief sketches of some of the many people who have been drawn to work with Fr. Emil and the people they have helped.

As many of you know, thanks to Fr. Emil Cook?s work, Mission Honduras International operates orphanages, group homes, shelters, and schools in Honduras, the Dominican Republic, and Liberia. Over half of the total proceeds from sales of Man on a Mission will go to Mission Honduras International.

God Bless,
