Liberia Mission Container
Greetings!
Thank you for your continued support and prayers for
the missions. I want to update you on what is
happening at Liberia Mission. The children are now
in our new school, St. Anthony?s in Blacktom Town.
We even have some children who are not orphans,
but who have gone through so much during the civil
war in Liberia. Many of these children have
experienced severe hunger and deprivation while
living in relocation camps. The children seem to be
adjusting well now, and they like going to school.
The new building to house our orphanage is under
construction. Fr. Emil is planning a visit to Liberia
Mission in the spring.
Liberia Mission Container
After 14 years of civil war, basic services such as
electric power are gone. Purchasing basic supplies
for the school and orphanage is very difficult or
impossible, in Liberia. Because of this we are
planning to send a container shipment to Liberia
Mission from Chicago.
We are requesting that you help monetarily,
or help us with in-kind donations
of the following general items: kitchen items, linens,
children's clothing, school supplies, tools, and
religious statues.

As I mentioned earlier the container will be shipped
from Chicago. If you have items to donate
and you can get them to Chicago, the children will be
so grateful. Or you can donate online now by clicking
here,
and we will purchase new items of your choosing in
Chicago for shipment to the children. Your kind
donation can also be used to defray the high cost of
freight charges to Liberia.
