Rent-To-purchase: An Acquisition Alternative

 If you are in need of change in your material handling fleet, buying a piece of equipment is not always the best decision. Renting a lift is the most flexible, least risky way of trying something different. Whether it is a new or used forklift, rental allows you to evaluate the fit for the application in a more comprehensive manner the typical demonstration. Over a period of a few weeks or months, you can be exposed to a variety of situations that would not ordinarily present themselves during the typical 3-day trial. The rent-to purchase plan is also not as expensive as some think. Typically our dealership will allow most of the first month's rent to be applied towards the capital cost. The plan can also be viewed much like the way a company uses a small force of temporary workers. Should demand decrease for any reason, the rental can be returned and expenses reduced. Work with your salesman to discover acquisition alternatives. |

 Oh sure they ALL look good on the outside, well most do anyway. Service vans should serve a number of purposes for the companies they represent. - They're of course rolling billboards as they travel the highways and byways on their appointed rounds. In this day and age of marketing, try calculating the expense of that exposure.
- They're a warehouse, stocked often to the brim with expensive parts, tools and technology that needs protection and housing. In inventory alone, some vans will carry over ten thousand dollars in parts, then you can start valuating the tools, meters and computers held there as well.
- At the job-site, along with our technician, they are the embodiment of the dealership. What is the impression they're going to give the customer?
