We would like to thank first all of you who attended, it was a great turn out and a wonderful time sharing conversations with customers, vendors, fellow employees and representatives from many of the original equipment lines we represent.
Toyota was on hand in the persons of Jim Petges and Steve Hanson to present a number of awards TLM received this year. TLM President Les Nielsen was also on hand to thank the employees for the great effort seen in 2010.

|  It is encouraging to see the recent uptick in rental units being delivered. I don't know, right about now I think many of us are hanging onto just about anything that says the economy is turning around, even if there are many questions about it and its future left unanswered.

Let's take quality to a personal level. It is of critical importance to me as well as everyone at Toyota-Lift of Minnesota that the product Toyota Material Handling produces is of the best quality possible. After all we all have a great deal riding on that quality to drive the success we've been fortunate to experience for so many years. An important part of improvement for any person or organization is accepting input and feedback regarding their efforts. This by Toyota Material Handling is done through their Customer Quality Engineering [CQE] Feedback Group. This group is comprised of a number of Toyota personnel taking informed and pointed feedback towards quality and design issues from fourteen dealership members generally made up of top service personnel. Perhaps it isn't a coincidence that the group has been in existence for about the same ten years that Toyota has dominated the United States and the world in the number of lift trucks sold. Read More

 It is a constant struggle to educate customers on the value of spending a few extra dollars towards genuine OEM parts. We feel so strongly about it we "almost" insist on them when working on competitive units. Time and again the aftermarket or "might will fit" parts end up disappointing everyone in their ability to perform, or in too many cases simply just failing in the application.
