| American Warehouse Systems
Dyess Air Force Base Mezzanine Project
|  In September American Warehouse Systems was contacted by Dyess Air Force Base in Abilene, Texas to provide a mezzanine system with a material lift, lighting system and fire suppression system. This will be the tenth mezzanine system that American Warehouse Systems has installed at Dyess AFB.
Back in 2007 American Warehouse Systems did a large storage aid project at Dyess AFB which included six mezzanines, four mobile aisle systems, shelving and pallet rack. Since then Dyess AFB has contacted American Warehouse Systems each year to add more mezzanines to their buildings.
Over the last couple of years American Warehouse Systems has been a steady supplier to Dyess AFB for many of their storage needs. Some of the other projects have included TA-50 gear lockers and wire partitions. I think Dyess AFB is a great example of a customer that will continue to keep coming back when you are able to provide high quality products delivered on time and installed with a professional installation team.  It's a hard sell generally to get past the the reality that the tire is still "working". It hasn't failed, it still goes around and supports the unit and the load when asked to. All the while worn tires result in more strain put on your lift truck's components due to vibration and shock, fatigue in your drivers for the same reasons, and the myriad of safety concerns pointed out earlier this week.
