I have been doing a lot of soul searching in recent months. I know from my childhood and upbringing I have the need to control things. I never felt safe or confident of how things would turn out. I tried through my entire life to force my will to make people love, like, want, appreciate and notice me. Now that I realize that this is tied to my self esteem I can let go. People will either get me or they won't. All I need is to be myself and let things flow. I cannot doubt, judge, or control things the way I used to. The new energy will not permit it. It only exhausts, depletes and frustrates me. So I have learned to let go.

I also have the tendency to want to save, fix and rescue friends, family, clients, romantic partners for the above stated reasons. I can see their situation and have such clarity and insight that I think, if I can get them to see my perspective than I can make it all better for them! I can be so busy trying to help someone else with their issues that I don't have time to really look at myself! That takes the spotlight off of me for a while, therefore, I don't need to focus on myself. When someone ultimately didn't do things the way I recommended, I would be frustrated and disappointed. I needed to learn to trust. Everyone is on their own path and they know what they need. They know what their lessons are, what they need to experience what they need to feel. It's not for me to fix, save or rescue. I can only hold the energetic space, with love, and trust that they are being guided for their ultimate highest good and I can love unconditionally, from the sidelines as a cheerleader and fan. If someone asks for my guidance, wisdom or advice I offer it BUT only IF they ask me for it. I do not overstep my boundaries.

I will also admit in the past I would allow people to fix, rescue and save me. I could be so helpless and needy that I would seemingly need a friend, a family member, a romantic partner to jump in and give me the advice that I didn't trust my own inner guidance to provide. I needed someone to make things better for me. I didn't necessarily believe that I was in the Divine Flow of God/Goddess and that my needs were provided for.

I'm not saying that I don't get fearful sometimes. I'm not saying I don't have the tendency to want to jump in and help someone. I'm a lightworker and it is my nature to want to help. I am also working really hard at having boundaries with others and being mindful to stay in my own energetic space and not allowing others to control or manipulate me or for me to do the same to others.

We are not perfect. We don't have to do it right every time. We just need to be mindful and aware. It is the first and most important step to changing an ingrained pattern. Once we realize what we are doing and what is being done to us we have the power to change it. That is when the real miracles can occur!!!

Indigo Parenting Class Thursday, April 17 6:30-8:00 Cost: $15 person/$25 per couple. Learn all about the Indigo/Crystal children, their attributes and characteristic and why they are being labeled as ADHD/ADD/Autistic, they tend to be non-conformist, highly spiritual and intuitive, quite intelligent, quick witted, think outside of the box, creative and tend to be highly frustrated and angry. The Crystal children are much more peaceful, less communicative, but very alert. Indigo/Crystal's tend to have a lot of allergies, issues with food and odd sleep patterns. I'll offer suggestions and answer any questions you may have.

Reiki I Practitioner Class Tuesday & Thursday April 29, May 1, 6, 8 6:30-8:30 pm Cost $185 Reiki is a Japanese form of energy healing. This class will attune you to being a channel for loving, peaceful energy that you can use to heal and balance yourself and others. Reiki is a method of channeling this energy through the palms of your hand by lightly placing them on yourself or someone else to bring a warm feeling that balances the emotional/mental/physical/spiritual bodies. There is no religious or spiritual belief necessary to be a practitioner or use this healing method. It will bring major positive changes in your life! The class will include the history of Reiki, hands on experience, guided meditations and attunements. Certificate and manual included. No prior experience or knowledge is necessary.

I know that I want to make a difference in the world. I want to help the people I care about. I want to assist humanity. Please show me how. Guide me in being a blessing to all that I come in contact with. I want to love without being a rescuer. I trust we are all on our path and that you are guiding us on our journey.

I want to open myself to people in my life but I ask for protection. i have the tendency to allow others to influence me and it doesn't always feel good. I want to be in constant connection with you and my higher self so that I will not be angered, influenced or manipulated by well meaning people in my life trying to rescue and fix me.

I am open to receiving the love and guidance from you dear One. I allow your influence to guide me to the greatest vision and the grandest version of my life. I wish the same for all those I care about.

And so it is.
