Notes to Myself
We are going through major transformative times both
as individuals and as humanity. In prior times we kept
ourselves status quo for as long as the Universe
permitted. We stayed comfortable and sedentary. I
know it seems that times are worse than ever.
What's happening with our politics, beaurecracies,
natural disasters, economy, housing market,
businesses, and world affairs is bringing things to a
head. Circumstances are shaking things up. It's
taking people out of their comfort zone. It's making us
wake up and look at and do things differently.
No one is off the hook from growing. If you try to avoid facing your issues and making changes, well then, the Universe brings along a nice, big surprise and usually quite unpleasant. It's not necessarily karma, It's not the Universe singling us out and saying, "It's your turn to suffer, you've been content for far too long." What's happening is, on a higher level, we are planning our lives and situations. We set up markers. If we haven't moved to a certain level of awareness or consciousness by such and such time in our lives, we just give ourselves a little kick start on the process. Then a series of events or circumstances come along and propel us to look deeply and begin making changes within. The challenging things we are facing are really opportunities for us to grow and learn about ourselves. It is a chance for us to step up to the plate and experiment with what we are capable of be-ing. In order for us to achieve what we want, we need to clear out all the old patterns that prevent us from experiencing genuine peace and happiness. What if we change the way we look at our struggles? What if we thank Source and ourselves for bringing us these opportunities to grow? If we can stop the constant chatter in our heads, slow down and come into the present moment, we can really see what's going on and what needs to be done. As we clear things up, moment by moment, in an authentic, honest, heart-centered way, we are living in the present moment, delving deep into our core and resolving issues that have held us back for longer than necessary. Transformation is positive. Change leads to new beginnings. Growth means we have taken another step on our path. It's all good. It all leads us closer to Oneness, which really is our ultimate goal. Oneness with Source. Oneness with our loved ones. Oneness with ourselves. Let go of the fear and step into our divinity. Stop avoiding the issues we need to face by making excuses or rationalizing it. As we overcome our challenges and connect with our inner power we are raising the consciousness of our planet. This is the real way we can help make the changes we long for. |

Transformation
Dear Oneness,
I am ready to let go of the past. I am ready to let go of my fears. I am ready to release my patterns. I want to try a new way. I am ready. I know that through your presence my challenges can be transmuted. Please show me what I have avoided seeing. Please make available the opportunities that I have resisted taking. I am ready to move forward. I know, God, that with courage and your guidance, I can grow. I want a chance to do things differently. I am scared. I doubt my abilities. Despite it all I know that miracles can happen. So, I ask for a miracle. May the miracle be me. I allow and open to the possibilities. And so it is. Amen. |
