Greetings!

My summer vacation is coming to a close. I start back at school on Monday morning, preparing for my new batch of students. It's exciting to begin anew. I had such a wonderful class last year, I wonder what is in store for this school year.

I thought I would write about perceptions of new beginnings. We begin anew each and every day....

Each day is a new beginning. I tend to resist change. I get all tied up in knots when it comes to something ending or something new coming that I am not familiar with. Don't get me wrong once the change comes I go with it. I just tend to fear the unknown. I know what I've got but I don't know what I'm getting. The funny thing is I always pray for new beginnings. I ask Spirit all the time to bring new opportunities into my life.

I think we have a tendency to wait for some major life altering event to bring change. We have a vision of what we want to achieve and we want to leap in. If we could only see the big picture, we would know that new beginnings are in the now moment. As we take even tiny, little baby steps in the direction of our dreams, we are creating new beginnings with our thoughts and actions.

Perhaps we want to experience a soulmate relationship. In order to have the kind of relationship we want to have we need to be the kind of person we want to attract. It might mean working on ourselves in the meantime; whether it be resolving a prior relationship, healing co-dependency or intimacy issues. It might mean finding our own inner happiness and contentment or working on our health and well being issues. New beginnings are happening as we grow and change.

We have the opportunity to create new beginnings by stating our wishes and really believing in ourselves. When we have confidence and trust the Universe to provide for our needs we are empowering ourselves to create the kind of life we want to live.

It may be a career change that we are longing for. A new opportunity to express our talents and creativity. It might be frustrating for us that while we know what we want, things aren't happening as quickly as we like. It may be that the timing isn't right for the opportunity or we are not ready within ourselves for whatever reason it may be. The new beginning is creating in the NOW moment. Doing what you love even if it doesn't bring financial rewards right away.

For me, writing this newsletter is a step in the direction I wish to go in. I have always known my passion is as a teacher and healer. I have found that one of the venues is creative expression through the written word. I took a risk revealing my inner self and being vulnerable through my writing, but, I feel it is worth it. This is my new beginning in creative expression and expanding my career opportunities.

I feel many of us have been in holding patterns for quite a while. It seems that no matter what we do we cannot seem to get out of the rut that we are in. We know what we want to make happen but no matter what we try nothing budges. It seems like we're stagnating. In reality while nothing on the outside seems to be occurring we are actually doing amazing healing and growth on the inside.

We need to change our perspective and focus on areas in our life that are working and be extra kind and loving to ourselves. When we are asking for a miracle in our lives and it doesn't come in the timely fashion we were hoping for, it just means that we have more preparation to do, more foundation to lay.

When new beginnings arrive and they do every day we are alive, we need to joyfully embrace them, even if it isn't exactly what we were expecting. By gratefully accepting what we are given with appreciation, joy and love, gives the Universe an opportunity to continue to bring us even more.

In order to be fully prepared for new beginnings we need to let go of what isn't working in our lives so there is sufficient room to allow new things in. This may include releasing old relationships, thoughts, belief systems, patterns, habits, jobs or sometimes even losing everything we have and know, to begin anew with a fresh start.

As you wish for new things, dream big, really big, the Universe responds to your thoughts, do not limit yourself in any way. If you are not sure what you really want to wish for just ask for all that is meant for you. Just remember to be open to receiving and accepting all the good things in store for you.

I am so gratefully for all the wonderful things in my life. I appreciate my family, friends, good health, wealth, my beautiful home, and all that I have and all that I AM.

Thank you for the blessings pouring forth from the Universe, I gratefully accept them and ask for even more. I am open to receiving!

I release all limiting thoughts, beliefs, habits and patterns that prevent me from receiving new beginnings.

I am ready to experience happiness! I am prepared for plenty of joy! I accept your blessings of abundance in all ways. I know that I deserve good in my life and I open to receiving it. I make room for more.

Thank you for your ever abiding presence.
