It's time to divide and "maximize!"
Let's grow our gardens - and help others grow too
Spring rains bring bountiful gardens! Summer
sunshine grows those gardens. And now, with Fall's
arrival, it's
time to divide and maximize!
Do you have a clump of iris or day lily that takes
up a 24"
circle? Chances are doubling that clump is
appealing.
We can dig it out, separate the
little plants then replant them to take up 48" of
space.
This divide and replant service lets us help you
maximize your gardens' potential.
If we have leftovers, they could be donated to:
I'm pleased to act as a go-between, taking your
extras to the cause of your choice.
If you have divisions and would like to donate them
to one of our community projects, feel free
to drop them off in my driveway at 671 LaHave in
Bridgewater. Please include a note naming your
intended
recipient.
Photo: Rosmarie has divided a large clump of
daylilies, then replanted them in a larger space. To
reduce transplant shock and prepare them for the
rigors of winter, she's cut them back about
eight inches from the ground.
