Songs for a New World is a Musical Revue by Jason Robert Brown, during which Brown transports the audience from the deck of a 1492 Spanish sailing ship to a ledge 57 stories above Fifth Avenue, New York, and a variety of significant American landscapes in between. We meet a startling array of characters each with their own story and these are the songs for a new world.

Zahr is a four-piece ensemble created by Italian percussionist Andrea Piccioni and pianist Francesco Turrisi, leader of Tarab, Mermaid's ensemble in residence in 2010.
Zahr is the influenced the Arabic music has touched many of the countries aong the Mediterranean Sea. Zahr combines Italian traditional music, Arabic and Turkish music with contemporary European jazz.
This special CD launch concert will feature Iraqi oud virtuoso Khyam Allami and the captivating Italian traditional singer Lucilla Galeazzi.
