At midnight on December 24, 2010, the raffle will automatically pick the winner. The proceeds of the raffle are split with Homeward Bound. They will receive a nice holiday gift.

This is the last month of the year and the last meeting before we end the raffle on Christmas. So, let's sell tickets. The winner certainly wins good. All the prizes and can be shared. If they know someone who needs a website or a resumes, you can pass it on.
We have found that working with an established charity means giving them enough time to prepare for any advertising. We were not as prepared as well could have been. We had the opportunity to get on local Fox news but didn't give our charity enough time to prepare. Since we are not allowed to pay online for raffle tickets except to send money to our account, it kind of made it hard to sell tickets.
The raffle is done online though. Once we sell a ticket, we put the buyer's name, phone and email in an area. It sends the buyer a number confirming they are in the system. On December 24 midnight happens the system will randomly pick a number and it will be on the site Christmas day December 25th. That part works great. It is an opportunity and the odds are good you will win.
We are planning a beer-tasting fund raiser for the spring any ideas are welcome. If you know a place to have it please let us know.
I also want to mention that our meetings are now focused on social media. We find that the topic is what everyone wants to know more about. There are also many tricks to using the different programs. Therefore, presentation on the same subject can only enhance your experience.

 Has the recession hit you too? Well, SEN is also feeling a pinch. We have some annual expenses coming up, and no money. We really need your help in making our on-line raffle a success so that we can get ahead of the game.
So, if you haven't purchased a ticket, do it now. Talk it up with your contacts. And, if you can, donate a prize. It's good advertising for your business. I know Homeward Bound will appreciate whatever we can donate to them.
