ADVERTISE AND DONATE!
| | SEN Fundraising
Donate a gift to the online raffle fund raiser and we will advertise your business. We are prepared to advertise this raffle as much as we can. We plan on using social media, word of mouth, the website, networking and maybe even TV. The raffle will show the list of gifts you donate. Your logo will be visible and a short blurb of your business along with a link to your website or email. Please email us today with your gift to make our raffle even more successful.
Plus, at midnight on December 24, 2010, the raffle will automatically pick the winner. The proceeds of the raffle are split with Homeward Bound. They will receive a nice holiday gift. We are working on the raffle page. You can keep up with the changes. We are planning on launching it at the next meeting. Click here for the raffle page.

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 12 PROGRAM
| | Through Online Resources
There are a number of websites created just for our group, and when used, improve all of our chances for a better networking experience. Scottsdaleexpress.org lists our members, has a membership application on it and offers the ability to register for future meetings. SAMventer.com allows you to share the meetings with guests you would like to invite. And, last but not least, is ABWA.org and the WIN (Women`s Instructional Network) site. As a member of ABWA, you have tools that only YOU as a member can use once you login. As your president, as well as a webmaster, I can help to make ScottsdaleEpress.org more friendly. If you have suggestions, be ready to share them at the meeting.

| OFFICER GREETING! | |
I am excited about our fundraiser. Some of the board say they have a feeling it will be a success. It is a web-based raffle. It gives all of our members and anyone who wants to donate a prize, the ability to advertise their businesses. On top of that we are representing a very good charity, Homward Bound. We will be launching the raffle at our next meeting, Oct 12, 2010. My company transNET Media® LLC is donating our time to build the online raffle. We are going to set it up so that when the time comes to draw the winning number, it will be automatic. This is a new program for us and in a way a form of advertising for this. When others see how nice this raffle works, they may want us to build it on their sites. All around, it is a good way to advertise your business and give to a good charity.
Our first intention for doing this raffle is for our group. Our funds are very low and we need to find ways to fill up our kitty so we can do the things other chapters can do. The nice thing about belonging to a national organization is there are national events. That can be expensive for any member. If our treasury is big enough, we can send some or all of the board to these events. As it is, we can barely give our guests a free lunch because our funds are so low. We are splitting the proceeds with Homeward Bound. This is a charity that does a lot of good work in the Valley. We know we need to build the kitty, but it is also nice when we can give to a good cause as well.
I belonged to this group 4 or 5 years ago. I quit. Then I came back last year. One thing admired about some of the members is their closeness. Now, I can say I have closeness with the board. Being a member and participating opens up your network of friends. When you have a friend, you have someone who trusts you and that goes far in business. Our fundraiser is a way for us all to contribute. We are contributing to a good cause and to the success of our networking and our networking group.

Here's to a successful fundraiser,
