Message from your President, Mike Hayashi, M.Ed.
The reasons to attend the meeting in March is not only the networking and getting more relationships built within our ABWA Scottsdale Express Network, but you will also gather strategies to improve and enhance your sales skills. And who couldn't use more sales in 2010?
After attending the ARC meetings recently and hearing from the other ABWA chapters around the Valley, I feel enthused and committed to utilizing all the resources and potential affiliates among our members and monthly visitors to our monthly meeting. All of us have to get on board to make our group stronger and more beneficial and advantageous to our business, our referral base, and to our $$$ Bottom Lines.
We are at the end of the 1st Quarter of 2010. How are you doing? Sales, Revenue Generation? Referrals? New Clients? Repeat Business? If you need some new ideas or fresh reminders, this is the meeting to put on your calendar.
With the help of The Sandler Sales System; let us provide you with another 90-minute lunch hour that will expand your horizons, empower you to tackle new challenges this month, and open the doors to starting new business relationships you discover within our own membership. Stay strong, healthy & safe.
Remember: "A Woman's Place..... is in CONTROL!"
Register yourself and bring a guest to the next meeting - Tuesday, March 9 for another business-expanding 90 minutes. And bring your gently-used clothing for Blessings Resale Shop to assist women in crisis.

| ANNUAL HUNGER KNOWS NO SEASON FOOD DRIVE |
|
Let's Do Our Part to Help the Local Food Banks
Once again it is time for our annual Hunger Knows No Season campaign. Some of your may remember when we started this campaign about ten years ago, it was fashioned after a campaign Normal Earl had in Omaha, Nebraska, and was called Christmas in July. We had a huge kickoff downtown and finished up with a spaghetti lunch at the American Legion in Glendale.
Sadly, those days are past and the last few years have not been as successful as we would like. We are still supporting St. Mary's Food Bank Alliance and I feel this is important as they are local and we are helping our neighbors. But, we need your help.
Mike Hayashi of Scottsdale Express Network and Alisa Rogoff of Paradise Express Network have agreed to work on the committee and Pat Fehlhaber of Turquoise Camel Chapter and St. Mary's Food Bank will be working closely with us.
We will be contributing protein this year with tuna fish and peanut butter.
Yet we still need some suggestions on how to make this a successful year. How about a business or organization to partner with in order to increase our size. Do you know who might like to partner with us?
This year, our campaign will begin April 1 and run until the July ARC meeting. We're counting on you to help us start off with a bang.
