Atlantic Antic

It's that time of year again. The 38th Annual Atlantic Antic will occur on Sunday, September 30th right on our street: Atlantic Avenue. The salon will be open that day but we will also be set up in front of the salon to showcase, introduce and soft launch our new line of Anu Essential Products. I will be out there with bells on looking forward to meeting you and introducing you to our line of natural products. We will have a fab D.J. spinning hot tunes and gorgeous models with our fab hairstyles showing you just how good your hair will look using our products.

Healthy Hair Affair

I will be attending the Healthy Hair Affair in Washington, DC as a panelist and representative of Khamit Kinks and Anu Essentials. This event will be held on Saturday, September 22nd. If you are in the DC area, please consider coming by and be a part of a conference on natural healthy hair.

Urban World Screens our Film

The Urbanworld Film Festival, an anticipated annual showcase of Black film, will screen "In Our Heads About Our Hair" on Friday, September 21st at the AMC Loews 34th St. theater in Manhattan. I hope to see those of you who haven't caught the film as yet and especially those loyal supporters who come out to see it whenever it screens, bringing family and friends. Speaking on behalf of our production team, we so appreciate you! Check the Urbanworld Film Festival site at the end of this week to purchase your tickets and see the lineup of other films.
