Heal a Woman, Heal a Nation
Khamit Kinks' long time client Dr. Sandra Lewis is a part of "Heal a woman, heal a nation." Dr. Lewis states that, "Our current initiative targets 10 cities where women and girls have the worst physical, mental and sexual health outcomes. Newark, NJ and the surrounding Essex County area are on this list of cities. GrassROOTS is working to change this status".
On October 6, GrassROOTS will host Power Forward, a cocktail fundraiser from 7:00pm-11:00pm at the Newark Museum.
